LETS CALL IT THE POST-PANDEMIC FLEX
Ok, so when I first started this site it was 2013 and I didn’t think I’d end up with the following I have now. Basically, I didn’t put much effort into the name. I knew I wanted it to do with luxury so luxe was here to stay. The “beau” part of LuxeBeau was what bothered me for a few reasons. One of them being the fact that beau means male suitor/boy-toy which completely passed over my head because in reality the beau part of LuxeBeau was meant to be a shortened version of beauty. Then people started pronouncing it “Luxe Bo” which is like, ew. It was Luxe Bee-u, as in beauty but again, never thought of that.
Another thing that bothered me was the fact that I put such an emphasis on beauty when in reality I wanted this site to be more of a lifestyle focused destination. I eventually noticed that many of my posts were not only about beauty but about everything from fashion to home decor. So after a long, long, hiatus from the site I’m officially back with a new name, Daily Luxe Life. Why Daily Luxe Life? Well because I strive to live a daily life full of luxurious indulgences. Whether that be burning an Byredo candle, having a glass of champagne and spritzing Chanel No 5 around my apartment or heading on vacation with my Camila Kaftan, Jimmy Choo Sandals and a gold Dior Diorama bag (currently obsessed with that bag by the way!), I strive to throw in something that makes me feel pampered everyday. Life is too short.
